No dogbones on the FZ6. Look at page 249:

The shock attaches directly to the swingarm, it's direct, not trailing link (like our superior machines
). The only way to lower the bike to my knowledge would be to mod/replace the shock, or carry out extensive modification to the swingarm.
EDIT: And I see Noggy has posted a solution (beat me to it, ya bastard! :lol ). That would seem to be the cheapest solution, unless you get lucky on ebay on the same kind of thing.
