For some reason i thought the 600 & thou had different length arms but the thou one must have just looked longer because of its design.
The fzs600 and thunerdace arms are both 240mm mate but I'm sure the fzs1000 torque arm is different mate

Ok geezer.......but the main thing is that you've managed to fit the thou caliper with a 240mm torque arm which is good, maybe if it is a different size then it just means that the caliper is slightly further round on the disc......or maybe the thou has a bigger disc so needs a longer arm to bridge the gap?????

As you said mate, it just means it's further around the disc, slightly further from anchor point on swing arm. Shouldn't make any difference what length it is, as long as there is enough slack in the brake line to reach it. A few cm shouldn't hurt.
