Cheers blokes, much appreciated. He's a 5 year old lab, (rescue dog, I got him two years back) so he's strong, young and healthy, he will be ok. I unashamedly love him more than life itself

That cuddly toy is his best mate, badger. Apparently he hung on to him as they knocked him out and it was the first thing he looked for when he came round ( I left my coat and his favourite toy with him...)
