Poor old Burt Ogri, hope he gets some good results geezer.
We lost 1 of our terriers recently, only 4 years old, the lump was inside his jaw & gone beyond surgery, totally heartbreaking.
On plus side for me my missus is a vet nurse so i always get the most detail & information & the vets dont beat about the bush with their honesty to us.
She tells me that they cut out the lumps but also some surrounding tissue which they call the margin, if the cancer has also spread to the margin it isnt good news but if the margin is clear its a good indicator that they got it all.sometimes it depends how quickly after noticing that the lumps are cut out, in our case we were too late.
Fingers crossed mate, dogs are pretty hardy when it comes to this type of thing, & the vets wouldnt cut them out if there wasnt a good chance regardless of people thinking they do stuff just for the money.
Obviously plenty of treats required.
