Winter Maintenance - What you guys got planned

Well I plan on sorting the suspension on my gen1, already bought the front bushes, but despite the bike having done 17k miles, it will need the rear shock replaced, i don't even want to ride it before its sorted, I also need to fit heated grips, braided hoses, and a power socket for my garmin sat nav, my brother has the same gen 1, and thinks this suspension upgraditus is a waste of money and effort, boy is he going to be surprised at the difference  :rollin


I need to replace the alternator on my ural as well, nothing up with it, only it's nick named the hand grenade, because it seizes and explodes killing the engine :'(
