You are right regarding the tuono 
. It is in another ball park when it comes to riding pleasure, but it is purely for solo riding. The reason i'm asking the question is that i want to know if the fz1 has a more modern feel handling wise and if the step up in performance is significant when both have been modded. I didn't want one when they came out, as there was snatchy throttle etc, but now there are fuel cut eliminators and tuning mods, so it may be sorted now. Ps.. the fz1 would be used for weekend blasts in the summer with the missus
