You know what whenever I see a heavy modded bike they never look comfy or like they will handle well. And if you are gonna spend that much on a 15 year old bike you may as well put the cash to sumut else. Ok its not my cup of coffe and I do know for some people it is, but there you are ------------ is it just me !!!!

If you think carefully about building a special then there is no reason why it shouldn't be comfy. Certainly a damn sight comfier than some of the weird riding positions that come up on some of the builds in Biker Build Off!


And why spend that much on a 15 year old bike? Well for me I just love the creative process and that's why I do it. Making stuff is so satisfying. Yes in the cold light of day it's a waste of money, I know that. But I get great satisfaction fabricating stuff and seeing my vision come to life. The good thing about my 15 year old bike was that it only cost me £400. I've got a complete front end (forks, yokes, wheels, brakes) and rear wheel off a KTM Supper Duke for nothing! I bought a written off bike and sold all the bits I didn't need and got the purchase price back. You can do this sort of thing without spending mega bucks, sometimes you have too. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a load of bling on my build, but I can't afford it.


I have never smoked and I don't drink much, so at least I'm getting something for the money I waste, rather than something like ill health. Hope this doesn't come across as having a go at you Fazersharp because I'm not, just saying why I like to modify. Just a grown up continuation of making Airfix kits I guess. OK, OK. We never grow up!
