This house has a conservatory , plastic roof open plan with the kitchen,obvious against building regs,,
but over night it bloody freezes in here,i got a fluffy furry hat on fot the first hour until the woodburner warms up.

Dont know about you but ours is rented, cant understand the thinking freezing in the winter, baking in the summer and cant hear the tel when it rains :'(

Same here and mine's rented too so I can't change it - although mine has a 'solid' roof, it's just solid plastic sheet with a layer of PB under it, just can't understand why he didn't shove some insulation in the gap. At least I have a wood burner stove - when I can be arsed to get it lit.
