What is an FZS1000 gen1??

The FZS1000 (gen 1's) have carbs and tubular frame with a one piece seat, right way up forks etc. The were made from 2001 to 2005 (you can find later registered ones) and come in single colours or twin colours (USA ones are twin tone)as you have described, they can also have black or silver engines.


The FZ1000S (gen 2) has fuel injection, aluminium frame, upside down forks, two piece seat and was made starting 2006 to present.
