Failed MOT

The foot rest should fit into a round hole but with a flat side so if it is loose you should be able to turn it left and right and feel it stop after less that 1/4 turn. If it turns all the way around then the flat side on the ally hanger has rounded. You need to (as punk says) take off the hanger with the footrest and on the vback is a large allen bolt - tis that which needs to be very tight.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
