vm 29 semi flatside question
#11
I have previously done the tube up the side, which shows the level the fuel sits in the float bowl. The carbs are the uk version 29mm semi flat slides. I replaced seal and needle, but not seats, so it's probably them that are causing an issue. I replaced the exhaust years ago with a full stainless micron system. When i went to have it set up on the dyno we couldn't get it to run right no matter what jet kit or needles we used. Ended up cutting open the system and removing an internal baffle just where the downpipes go from 4 into 1. Set up after that was straightforward Wink  I still have the dyno read out..98 hp at rear wheel. Doubt it still puts that out now :\ This bike i bought in 1992 with 12000 miles it was mint. I used it for 12 years and sold it to my mate when it was still mint. He used it for 8 years but totally neglected it. He even drove it to Africa! Bought it back last month and replaced fork seals, starter, rear tyre, regreased suspension bushes, repainted 'cheap as chips', stripped carbs and ultrasonically cleaned them, stripped and bled brakes and fitted new seals. Plus loads more....Costing a fortune :'( Here is a recent pic... I have since added bullet hole stickers :lol  99p This paint job is temporary.. any suggestions to the colour i should paint it?

If it's broken, it's not fixed.
