vm 29 semi flatside question
#1
Being naughty as this has nothing to do with my fazer thou, but my gsxr 750 'slabside' I have recently replaced the starter, ultrasonically cleaned the carbs, replaced the float needle valves and the bike still leaks fuel if fuel tap left on. Next issue is if i leave fuel tap on it lets fuel into the combustion chamber if left overnight, which causes a hydraulic lock - this was the reason i got a new starter, as i thought it was knackered. funnily enough it was pretty goosed, as the fuel leak ran onto the starter and removed the internal grease Sad . Anyway does anyone know why it is letting fuel into combustion chamber? I know if i turn the fuel tap off i will have both issues sorted, but i owned this bike 8 years ago and never needed to turn tap off..

Ps... Fazer has been rebuilt after accident and has been in use for last few months Smile
If it's broken, it's not fixed.
