My old 1991 Mark II Golf GTi had 235,000 miles on it before it started playing up - ran really well, but the body work was atrociously full of rust Sad There was a hole that was a good 6" in diameter in the rear of the car just under the boot lid - needless to say, when it rained, the car flooded...
