I remember, I personally did 185k in a carlton I had too. Ah memories Re: mileage. - Dead Eye - 07-09-13 My old 1991 Mark II Golf GTi had 235,000 miles on it before it started playing up - ran really well, but the body work was atrociously full of rust ![]() Re: mileage. - red98 - 07-09-13 (07-09-13, 08:58 AM)Lumpy link Wrote: My e38 is above 140k, I've seen over 200 on speedo of bike and car I've been in control of. Smooth, quiet, uber comfy, handles well and loks superb Re: mileage. - reillypadraig - 07-09-13 Whoaaa thread just got cage raped :eek Lol Wel done getting that many miles outa her, when I bought mine there was a new engine hanging in the frame and the old 1 in the corner of the garage with cylinder 3 after blowing up,it had 104,638klm on the clock but he didn't look after it at all. I am just rebuilding a pair of forks instead of just rlacing a weepy seal, the rear shock blew it's seal at 93k, other than chains, sprockets, oil, filter and pads with the regular tyre changes it's been marvellous for the nearly 5 years of ownersip. Rear caliper is now blue spot and I have spare front calipers but the ones on are original and only stripped and cleaned once. Discs have been changed twice, and recoated wheels fitted as the originals were scabby, they are now spares and may get knobblies fitted for the snow in case we get some Re: mileage. - CRH - 07-09-13 my nephew runs a 850t volvo ex police car, and that has just topped 303,000, hes had it from 108k...and never took a spanner to it!!...only thing he does do regular is change oil, every 3k....mobil 1..... |
