Don't want to harp on about this, but I think it's actually pretty important. I believe the torque settings on these bolts are quite high, that's one reason for the tensile rating requirement. Also, if I remember right, they need to be Loctited in place when you refit them.

If i remember well the oem bolts are 8 grade,wich is the equivalent of 10.9 in metric system.
Of cource we can use titanium bolts   but the price is prohibitive. :'(

I just wanted to be sure that people don't just use any old bolts as the discussion here seemed to be more about sizes with no mention of other requirements. I know you'd already mentioned this mars696, but wanted to make sure people picked up on it. I've got nothing better to do, sorry!

Well, my results were unhelpful... I forgot that the previous owner was a bit mad and so I have three different sized hex bolts holding my calipers on - 1x 14mm, 1x 13mm and 2x 12mm

If nothing else, my bike has character...
