Just fitted a rear maxxis diamond to the fz1 and went for a bit of a scrub in.
First impression is a very positive one! Due to the pointy shape of the profile, the bike tips in much better than before, the old tyre (contimotion) was worn evenly, and not square, still handled well, but had a more rounded profile.
This diamond tips in quicker, which seems to suit the fz, and my riding style a lot better, then seems to 'plant' itself in the bend. Its a wierd feeling, bit I like it so far.
Ill keep you all updated in its progress as I tip it over more.
