My rev counter issue - 6000rpm

Found out what the problem is.  The male connector to the tps has cracked.  Its still making contact but the plastic cover obviously gets pulled by the air under hard acceleration and makes a poor connection.
not sure if I need to buy a new tps cable or if I can get a plastic welder to fix it.
