I have no idea about the FCE unfortunately
However if you haven't tinkered with the Airbox in any way or removed the Cat Converter - Just an End Can and a K&N in the standard airbox doesn't mean you will need a Power Commander or that the bike will run lean (the back pressure due to the Cat is still pretty much the same, and also the airbox is quite restrictive regardless of the air filter)
So with what you have done you will be fine
You may get some back popping from the end can, but this is simply due to the AIS system
