Had the same problem when i first bought my Fazer, 30mph cruising and i could feel knocking on my left foot peg, 60mph and over and i couldn't feel it anymore. turns out i had a tight spot and a few stiff links in my chain. no matter how much lubing and cleaning they wouldn't free up. ended up buying a new chain and sprocket kit and problem was sorted
