A quicker and less messy method of checking the fuel levels in the carbs is to use a length of pvc tubing on the drain spigot as described in the manual. By draining the bowl first (may need to turn off the fuel tap under the tank briefly) you can compare the filling rates for a good carb and carbs 3 and 4. That way you can find out if the problem is in the fuel supply side without even taking the carbs off.

:agree  yep...thats the way i do it.......i would check that first but its more likley to be the float valve  [size=78%] [/size]
