We got done the same east mid airport dropped off wifey and than nxt thing got a ticket in the post from private firm for £60 , however its civil all they will do is keep sending letters with demands to scare you to pay, she wanted to pay because she was scared but i was having none of it, I sent them a letter with a payment of £5 as a gesture of goodwill stating this is a final payment for the parking charge and that was generous as you don't even have to do that just ignore.
