Yeah, (possibly) larger swept volume of the R1 piston will give you slightly sharper brakes in theory (unless someone could prove me wrong).

After running a '98 R1 for nearly 7 years, I wouldn't bother upgrading, the Ikkle Fazers brakes are fine as they are! Big Grin
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
