From ALDI - unattended bag which could have contained anything - could also have been situated for a quick snatch and grab runner from the shop.
From you - PERSONAL shopping bag which COULD have contained personal items.
HOWEVER, i think what pisses you off the most is not what happened, but how they dealt with it. they COULD have handed over a basket and informed you that the stores policy was to deter the use of personal bags whilst shopping and use the provided baskets. They could have assisted with transferring the goods to the basket for you.
but, they decided to be arsey about it.
my advice would just to laugh it off - lifes too short to worry about thsee kinda things.
