@Packie, Yes, the photo is slightly missleading. If you look at the tank just above the Y of Yamaha then you can see it is going up to a kind of peak before it goes down towards the seat. I belive if it was the older style tank then it's profile would be much flatter and wouldn't peak quite so much before going down to the seat.
