I comute on my bike every day and while I do keep a good eye on my mirrors and have a good feel for what's approaching and around me I always lifesave before commiting to a manouver (lane change, roundabout exit etc).
99% of the time there is nothing there and all is good, but today, came off a round about onto a dual carriageway (slow lane), wanted to over take the slower cars in my lane and make progress, did my usual life saver and there it was, a car toally in my blind spot! Rolled off the throttle slightly, let him pass, checked mirrors, 2nd life saver and I'm off in the overtaking lane, no dramas
It just made me realise that no matter how often there is nothing there, sometimes there is!
Why am I writing this? Because I see a lot of riders (mainly learners) who just indicate and pull out into traffic and one day, they will be knocked off! Never underestimate the power of the life saver..........

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!
