Anybody has ridden a GSXR 1100?

You'll certainly get attention riding about on it.
Saw one parked up in town last year, it just looked massive, tall, fat with a monster fairing.  Looks of people looking at it including me.

I do remember the bike mags slagging of one years version of it, apparently a bit of a hedge hopper.  I think that year in the proddy TT, when basically the bikes were raced as they came out of the showroom, it was involved in a number of fatalities.

Yeah you might want to do a bit of chassis and suspension work on it if you do go for it.  If it's in reasonably good nick and you keep it nice it's only gonna increase in value. 

But I know what you mean about the fun factor.  I test rode a lightly used Triumph Daytona in the mid 90's, I had it for the best part of a day.  I just loved it, the engine the size of the thing etc.  I didn't buy it though, I didn't feel confident enougth back then with all that weight and that I was on my tip toes at a standstill.  I bought a CBR600 instead, better handling, faster but just didn't quite make you feel the king of the road that the Daytona did.    Maybe if I ever get that old garage of mine fully sorted out I might see if I can get hold of an early 90's Speed Triple 900.

I suppose that getting attention that way is not a good think, it seems like most people was looking at a very obese person. :\ But it doen't matter.
Thanks for the dangerous version advise. I had read about it too, it was a previous model.

I had never heard of those older triples, they are beautiful!
