I agree with you motorbreath, it'll certainly be a scream, and a challenge too if you can tweek the chassis for the track and blast past the newer machines, then every credit to ya and go for it.
Gotta admit, one of my favourite bikes for being a challenging ride was my old suzuki GS500! It was a proper basket case bike, but I sorted it out into a commuting carver, embarassing many a bigger bike in the town traffic. It just goes to show that its not what you've got, its how you ride it
