Creating a channel in YouTube

Anyone had much luck with this?
I try to upload a video and it starts off with the create channel wizard, but I can't choose the continue button as it does nothing,
the cancel button works, but it means I can't upload my GoPro videos


Is it maybe a Java issue? Pretty sure I'm up to date...
