Hey chillum,i know we're off topic but i didnt know that about old electronics, what a bummer!
Do you happen to know if the same applies for old synths, drum machines, grooveboxes from the 90's?
Ive got a german 90's groovebox that i was gonna keep til it was vintage but if it's gonna be knackered then i best sell it immediately and buy fazer bling instead, its all anologue dials and buttons but i noticed last time i tried it the lcd display was jumping around a bit, i found repeatedly turning the knobs back and forth seemed to loosen it up a bit.
