Thought at £8.75 delivered I'd take a flyer on a set of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330655532156
They arrived today & will do the job, albeit they needed a bit of rubber cut to fit underneath.
I need to use the bike tomorrow so I've left them on as is at the moment, they're plain black paint & the 'R1' logo doesn't look to be etched into the metal, just masked into the paint so when I get some free time I'll strip & repaint them plain black.
I also did order some ally so I may whittle myself a proper set come the long winter nights sat in front of the fire....
