you should come to the BMF show's, the FOC-U and Bandits owners clubs tend to have compititions on rev counter bouncing when we do the sunday arena ride 
thats what limiters were made for
The key as far as i am concerned is warming the engine up first, make sure its a full operating temp before and dont hold it to high for to long
