I just use my "dust blower gun" attachment and the pistons fly out, no need for a good seal between gun and bolt hole. LAst time I did mine the pistons showed very little wear (@20.000 miles), but did renew all seals while I was there.

. Compressors are great bits of kit and worth having, use mine all the time.
