I am in East Finchley. I was gonna take it to North London Motorcycle Training in Edgeware as I know they fix and service bikes.
I think the fuel is going out of the exhaust, partly burnt as I have felt I have had to have the choke out due to the cold.
The symptoms described by Minty are EXACTLY what's happening. As a newbie biker I have absolutely no idea how to get to the spark plugs. I'm quite reluctant to start taking it apart due to lack of tools, lack of garage space, and also not really knowing what I'm doing as well as lack of time to do it.
I also think the fuel has gone on having the choke out to deal with the cold, and also on using more fuel to try and make up for the lack of power.
How could this have happened?? It hasn't been dropped or anything like that.
If it is this, would a good service fix it?
