You're just going to have to lump it, you could take the kit off but then you're driving without a licence so what's the point of doing the test in the 1st place.
Ask yourself this, would you rather be on a big bike with a restrictor or an unrestricted little bike? At least you know it's got more to offer in the future, I hated being on my 100 and part of that was knowing it would never improve.
