I am 20 and have been riding since i was 16 i have passed my test in setember this year as wen i was only got 30 guid a week i stook to a 125 and bult up full no claims but am still have to 33bhp even tho i have over 20 000 miles of exprance i think this is unfair any 1 agree?

Wether anyone agrees or not makes no odds realy, you are still stuck with it.
What does the restrictor kit consist of? A guy I work with had a CBF500 with restrictor kit, all it consisted of was a little bracket on the side of the carbs stopping the throttle from opening fully and 2 different length screws, cost him £180 for it!! I guess you pay more for the certificate and frame sticker than you do the kit but without you aint licenced or insured, I was amazed he never took it off early as I know I would of done.
As for mileage if you've covered a million miles on a learner legal 125 an FZS600 is still going to take a bit of getting used to, for a so-called budget de-tuned commuter/tourer they are pretty bloody impressive once you get them revving.
Oh the joys of being an old git when you could get home from your test, park up the 125, and take your z650 for a good thrash...(mind you I used to do that before the test :o , and the 125 was a 200 with different badges and logbook

I agree with the restriction and believe it should be applied to young drivers of cars too, you can do accelerated next year if you want to get there quicker.

You don't need a certificate or frame sticker. Theres nothing in any laws that says you do, the majority of insurance company's don't ask for a certificate. You can if you have the facilities make your own restrictors there's someone on ebay sellin them for 32 quid with a "certificate" for piece of mind. Long story short - don't spend 200 quid on a restrictor just to get a piece of paper.

My bike has the washers in the carbs and the bike wont run propaly after 7/8000 revs but my mates er5 has the washer win carb a nd will rev to 11000 is that right
Also the honda nsr 125 aprilla rs 125 and cargiva mito 125 2 stroke all have 33 bhp and are lighter than than fazer 600 so some 17 year old lad should be leave me at the lights

Not necessarily, there's decent grunt low down that you can tap with the correct technique. You took time to learn how your 125 handled, riding around any "foibles", now do the same with the Fazer"R". Learn how the weight changes cornering, use brakes that work, get a idea what the engine does and how to get the best from it. You should already be hot on corner speed from the 125.
Then when the restrictors come out you have a new bike for £200

I have had my fazer a month and coved 1300 miles and can rideit as hard as the 125 but with the fazer i need to change gear at 7000 revs witch drops to 6000 then am changeing again 5 seconds later witch wen in a lobg sweeping curve is dangerus coz it can corse bike to slide

You're just going to have to lump it, you could take the kit off but then you're driving without a licence so what's the point of doing the test in the 1st place.
Ask yourself this, would you rather be on a big bike with a restrictor or an unrestricted little bike? At least you know it's got more to offer in the future, I hated being on my 100 and part of that was knowing it would never improve.

are the carbs balanced.
I have the same bike with the washers in the carbs I have no problem I know when my m8 who fit the kit said it was a bit of a pig to get the carbs balanced with the kit in .
its not all that bad the 33bhp kit my bike will do 105mph on the dyno test
125cc bike 33 bhp leave you at the lights lol u must be joking m8 you have a lot more torque you can easily smoke them at the lights .

there is this option:
take washers out of bike
leave washers at home
if pulled by police say it is restricted (if they wish to dyno your bike (they normally get you to go dyno it ) put them back in for the dyno run
if you cash and insurance check your screwed :/

Why if you are 20 did you bother doing it? all my life i wanted to ride but couldnt stand the idea of a full licence and not being able to ride properly so waited and did my DAS at 21, did cost that much extra either, (a lot cheaper then the restrictor kit)
but most friends i know who have had them have taken them off claiming them to be too dangerous, you end up with all the weight of a big bike with no power to get you out of the corners :\
But most Police officers wont check it, and dont even know where to check it, it doesnt show on an ANPR camera so....

Just kidding ... It won't be long before some old fart comes along and tells you how they could ride a 33HP 250 on L plates without a lid and then progress to a full-on Z900 after passing a test that simply involved staying upright.
Most of them are either dead or have metal bits in their legs though ... :rollin

a restricted fazer puts out 25kW and is roughly 200kg so thats a power to weight raito of 0.125kw/kg which is still better than your average car so anyone that says that they are dangerous because of a restriction is talking out of their arse

33hp isnt that bad 0-60 is about 7-8 seconds and it will do just over 100 and mine did 300 miles 2 up not far off max weight at 85 mph most of the way and get in the right gear before the corner then you wont need to change while still lent over
