Ignition coils

Hi Does anyone know if it's ok to useĀ 3ohm dynatek coils on an fzs1000 ? TIA

I assume those Dyna coils are single "coil-on-plug" types?
Well, it becomes marginal. The original coils have 2.2 ohms and are dual/wasted-spark type. You would have to take 2 Dynas in parallel as replacement. That lowers the effective ohmic value down to 1.5 ohm and gives about 30% increase in current. That's a lot of additional load to the output driver..

My solution was to add an external driver circuitry, to be on the save side.
