Yep I agree, mine was red and black 87, picked it up the evening before I went to the Is of Man.  PX my Gpz 900r for it, absolutely loved it.

Its all about the look, its all about universal cool – not whether the bike is a practicable commuter, how good it is at negotiating puddles, whether the ergonomics are comfortable or not or what the fuel economy is or fuel range.    FFS!

People have expressed an opinion but because its not the same as VNAs then its not allowed, that's why its mostly only him that is posting bikes, people are not bothering.

I do feel, he should create a nice 1350 badge as a wee finshing touch, to replace the 900 badge on the side cover. 

I think he should offer me a test ride too!  Anyway I love it.  I think its cool, and it will certainly get noticed by both ordinary punters and bikers.  Its super cool, and nicely understated too.

Why don’t you start ‘The practicable, reliable and dependable commuter’ thread then?  There you can discuss things like, most practicable mud guards with respect to how they perform on passing through dirty dirty puddles, windshields, heated grips and underwear, rubber footpegs, topboxes, economy and ease of maintenance.
