Was it the warden couldn't see his permit or because he parked like a tw@t?

As he says, ""I thought it was odd because if I wasn't displaying it I would have got a parking ticket every day because I had left my car there while I was in London"
Basically it's just a Warden being a Jobsworth.

Look at the picture again and see how it is parked against the kerb!
It appears to be parked on a junction. Maybe they issued the ticket for that rather than the non-display. The person receiving the ticket probably didn't even read it :pokefun

It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!

I will refer you to rule 243 of the highway code. This is something you can get a parking ticket for (though most plod and wardens don't bother)
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-...238-to-252 DO NOT stop or park: - opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space

It's not something I normally worry about, being on a bike ![]() So, yes, it's possible that that was what the ticket was for, but it's still an odd co-incidence that it happened on the day when the permit wasn't visible due to snow.

Well there you go. Nothing to do with parking badly. All to do with poor quality software and a over zealous enforcement
