LOFOs August 2nd ride out.
Really enjoyed planning this and leading it today guys, thanks for attending and making it work  :thumbup

Weather was excellent, not too much traffic (just a couple of short snarled up bits), so given the school holidays are in full swing, I thought we got pretty lucky.

Extra brownie points to Noggy and Grayo for making it all the way from Wales - you couldn't really call it a LOFOs ride, as we had people from all over the place. Hope you all enjoyed it and get home safe.

Morning meeting:

Got in at 2245hrs...total since yesterday morning is 590 miles.

Enjoyed some nice roads with slim on the way home, i stopped just passed merthyr to get a McD and change over my visor. Road in the dark from there until carmarthen where i filled up.

Then the heavens opened up all the way from Carmarthen to Haverfordwest....30 miles of getting drenched and being unable to see foc all.....after all that heat today.......dont come to pembrokeshire....it's shit.

Here's the effect it has had on me. :lol

Got in just before 9. 492 miles covered in all. Brilliant couple of days. Thanks for a great route Nick, thanks for your hospitality Punkstig. Good to meet the Nogster, good to see all the usual suspects. Had a blinding ride home, felt like I had the A272 all to myself, rode the complete length of it and continued on the A roads all the way to the M2, I'm all twistied out.
Midden, you missed a cake vending machine, you would have loved it  :lol

That's slimwilly showing his fashion tourettes  :lol

Punkstig fixes Noggy's brake light, which was permanently on:

...which apparently gave red98 a case of tourettes whilst following him:

Just been out to wash the collection of dead wildlife off the bike and I've got a feckin' puncture. :'(
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

I hope you read the small print before coming on this ride Grayo:

Article 3752g, Part 37: All punctures, breakdowns and general disappointment shall be the individual attendee's own responsibility  Big Grin  :lol

I'm pretty sure that Sub Section 1a to Part 37 stated that "Any costs incurred from said punctures, breakdowns and general disappointments, shall be fully reimbursable by the organiser."  :lol

Ah, but if you had checked thoroughly, you would have seen the amendment in sub-para 59x which clearly states that in the instance of a claim, the organiser will foc off abroad without a trace  :b

Ah, ok. Fair enough. I admit I didn't read that bit. I'll just buy a new foccin' tyre then.  Smile
