Know they are like hens teeth but worth a try;-)
after a exup valve for my 2004 fazer
valve that's fitted to mine currently rattles like hell end is worn
Thanks
Easy fix local engineering company ask they to turn down end and make a bush I had mine turned down and used a ball race from a model car worked fine
Open ball bearing can take the heat
Is it just the Arm Shaft that you need?
Cheers for the reply,
I have the spacer part 13
I'll get a better shot of the ends tonight when I get home.
That was my concern the material to make the bushes out, and my fear with using bearings
Gonna spell it wrong but phos-fur-bronze
Ok, there is wear there. But with all the spacers in-place and the correct amount of slack set on the pully cables you shouldn't hear much of any rattle.
Wear on the bushes doesn't seem too bad considering 47,000 miles
Deffo slack on the valve spindle, lots of "wobble" and it's just amplifies thru the can
Tried adjusting but was the same, there's a couple of machine shops local to me will have a pop in this week and see wots possible.
Knock out the bushes and take them with you, they should be able to machine new ones to suit the valve
Ear plugs cures rattles.......or if you're on a goldwing turn up radio
