When I removed my timing cover to fit an ignition advancer I just used a small amount of gasket paste when I refitted it.

Wonder how it would look with black covers and a silver engine? :eek

Funny you should say that UNFAZED...the round plug in the timing cover is rubber/plastic and I dont really want to paint it, its just starting to flake on the edges, hardly noticeable but I know its there :rolleyes so was thinking of stripping the silver off and leaving it black.........might work...
instant gasket it is then for the timing cover :thumbup no work on the fazer today, started work at 7 this morning and only just got in.....time to chill ![]()
