My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale
#1

Apologies if this is against any forum rules (I did look but couldn't find any info), Mods feel free to delete if it does.

My mate is selling his ZXR400 via Autotrader and ebay with no luck, so I thought I'd mention it here.

Here's the link to the expired listing for pictures and info. Bike is still for sale as of 7-4-14:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-ZXR40...4d1b1a9e12

Located in Kenilworth, Warks.

Tax & Mot Feb 2015, about 12,000 miles on it, bloody good condition, 2003 model.

He's selling because it was restricted to 33bhp as per the old rules and his 2 year restriction expired, so he's looking for something bigger (and yes I'm trying to talk him into a Fazer!  Big Grin )
I say it was restricted, he had a set of 47bhp restrictors professionally fitted to suit the new A2 licence catrgory with a certificate to prove.
These bikes are 67bhp as standard and bloody quick for a 400.

1st time it was listed it never made the reserve of £2,200, second time no reserve starting at £1,950 but no bids.

He says he'd ideally like around the £2k mark but will be happy with anything over £1,900

Give Lewis a ring on 07854 312444 for more details.
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.

No offense to your mate or his bike, but the last Kawasaki 400 I owned was underpowered and blew up. I'll stick to my Project Fazer, thanks!  Big Grin

Bearing in mind I had its predecessor, the ZX-4 which shares most of the ZXR engine...  Wink

Either way, moot point, as I don't want it and can't afford it!  :lol

Good luck with the sale.  Smile

surely easier to cut out the middle man and give it to the scrappy rather than give it to Christo first.....  :b Big Grin
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!

Ooooooh Harry you evil man. :evil :evil :evil

I have it on good authority that Christo is very mechanically sympathetic.

He trashes the bikes......& then feels sorry for himself :b :b :b

Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Now relisted as a classified ad. Must go due to him picking up a Yamaha FJ1200 chopper this weekend and he'll be a bit short of space!
