My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale - mr self destruct - 07-04-14 Apologies if this is against any forum rules (I did look but couldn't find any info), Mods feel free to delete if it does. My mate is selling his ZXR400 via Autotrader and ebay with no luck, so I thought I'd mention it here. Here's the link to the expired listing for pictures and info. Bike is still for sale as of 7-4-14: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-ZXR400-/331167211026?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item4d1b1a9e12 Located in Kenilworth, Warks. Tax & Mot Feb 2015, about 12,000 miles on it, bloody good condition, 2003 model. He's selling because it was restricted to 33bhp as per the old rules and his 2 year restriction expired, so he's looking for something bigger (and yes I'm trying to talk him into a Fazer! ![]() I say it was restricted, he had a set of 47bhp restrictors professionally fitted to suit the new A2 licence catrgory with a certificate to prove. These bikes are 67bhp as standard and bloody quick for a 400. 1st time it was listed it never made the reserve of £2,200, second time no reserve starting at £1,950 but no bids. He says he'd ideally like around the £2k mark but will be happy with anything over £1,900 Give Lewis a ring on 07854 312444 for more details. I'll stick to my Project Fazer, thanks! ![]() Re: My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale - mr self destruct - 07-04-14 I've rode this. Bearing in mind I had its predecessor, the ZX-4 which shares most of the ZXR engine... ![]() Either way, moot point, as I don't want it and can't afford it! :lol Good luck with the sale. ![]() Re: My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale - HarryHornby - 08-04-14 surely easier to cut out the middle man and give it to the scrappy rather than give it to Christo first..... :b ![]() Re: My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale - noggythenog - 08-04-14 (08-04-14, 01:56 PM)HarryHornby link Wrote: surely easier to cut out the middle man and give it to the scrappy rather than give it to Christo first..... :b Ooooooh Harry you evil man. :evil :evil :evil I have it on good authority that Christo is very mechanically sympathetic. He trashes the bikes......& then feels sorry for himself :b :b :b Re: My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale - ChristoT - 08-04-14 Bastards. Noggy, you swine, what about the noggyfighter then?!? :eek Re: My mate's Kawasaki ZXR400 for sale - mr self destruct - 09-04-14 Now relisted as a classified ad. Must go due to him picking up a Yamaha FJ1200 chopper this weekend and he'll be a bit short of space! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-ZXR400-/331173380663?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item4d1b78c237 |
