Hi,
I have a small problem with the exhaust on myFZS600, when I last serviced it I noticed thst the exhaust didn't sound right. On closer examination I noticed that some of the fumes were exiting from the base of the can by the link pipe. Is there a way to repair this other than replacing the can? also is the link pipe permanently attached to the can on the stock exhaust or can it be detatched?
Thanks

....the high tempture silicone is the only solution,if your carefull you can produce a good finish that dos`nt look bodged,i used masking tape for a neat finish
. Am now watching a couple of second hand cans on ebay, although tempted to spend a bit more for a beowulf
