Rear spring adjustment

Bikes like a boat two up i know im probably gonna need to swap out the rear shock but before i do anyone got any tips on adjusting the spring tried yesterday with the tool in the pouch but the thing wouldn't budge .
rather die on my feet than live on my knees .

Just applied an bit of of thought process into it an got it sorted .

Yes it helps if a bit of lube is sprayed on time to time,,


Turn the jack up plate, harder or softer.


i have backed mine right off,(gen 2 )standard spring,i was being thrown up from the seat,i live out in the sticks,roads like roller coaster.


I have checked the full adjustment of the damping and have now set it in the hard,slow position and i just tried it and its miles better, so the damping is still working on my bike.
I know its only the internet but they are real people ! ain't they?

Set mine to one off the top hard setting an whacked the damping up fullĀ  although to be honest the shock has probably had its day after 32 thousands miles but feels alot better than it did with the mrs on the back so itll do for now .
