Rear spring adjustment - redrat - 01-09-12 Bikes like a boat two up i know im probably gonna need to swap out the rear shock but before i do anyone got any tips on adjusting the spring tried yesterday with the tool in the pouch but the thing wouldn't budge . Re: Rear spring adjustment - redrat - 01-09-12 Just applied an bit of of thought process into it an got it sorted . Re: Rear spring adjustment - manuel32 - 01-09-12 Yes it helps if a bit of lube is sprayed on time to time,, Turn the jack up plate, harder or softer. i have backed mine right off,(gen 2 )standard spring,i was being thrown up from the seat,i live out in the sticks, roads like roller coaster. I have checked the full adjustment of the damping and have now set it in the hard, slow position and i just tried it and its miles better, so the damping is still working on my bike. Re: Rear spring adjustment - redrat - 01-09-12 Set mine to one off the top hard setting an whacked the damping up fullĀ although to be honest the shock has probably had its day after 32 thousands miles but feels alot better than it did with the mrs on the back so itll do for now . |
