Looks very similar to the rd250e caliper if memory serves...equally you sure it isnt the same as the xs250 one?

There's an article on restoring air cooled RD's in Practical Sportsbikes this month. You'd probably get a good price for that caliper. If you email the mag, I'm sure they'll be able to help you.

It looks like a 1980 XS400SG / 1979 RD400F caliper alright.
A good source to check parts is

You should be able to see all the bolts that hold the caliper together now and be be able to dismantle.

Rebuild complete whilst drunk and only one piece left over - wonder where that washer was meant to go. Will bleed them in the morning - fully expect brake fluid all over the shop :b
