Help! So I removed the starter relay a few days ago, to clean the contacts on it and the ring terminal thay goes to the fuse snapped so I bodged it with a wire and spade connector, refitted it, press the starter and nothing -_- no surprise there tho. Got a new starter relay, fitted it and stull nothing. Any ideas? Checked all switches etc and cant see any issues Sad

Cheers guys

Are you sure your 'botched' job you've done is sound?

Doesn't mean it's charged.  Wink

Also, Sinto has a valid point - checked the connections with a multimeter?

Yeah battery is fully charged Tongue haha and got a new starter relay on anyway and still doing nothing, but connections were sound and had good resistance when checked anyway

Has it been knocked into gear? That would give you the same affect.

Is there not a main fuse near the other fuses? Could that be blown? Are you getting all the lights on the dash and other lights working?
Another thought, years ago with my honda cbr my starter was playing up and got nothing when trying just like you, ended up the bushes in the starter were dodgy,  it needed a wee tap on the starter unit to knock the bushes round enough to make a contact, maybe worth a try?
