where are you from Miranda. If the damage can be fixed you can have someone weld it up.
Mine was fixed earlier this year and looks good as (once I get the decals sorted)
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - strawberries in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming - WOO HOO! What a Ride!"

Agree on the fix it option if you can
But occasionally you will see Fazers going up for breaking which might be an option (plus a respray) or you have ebay - most require spraying as well and aren't cheap - usually around £150~

Do a free UK breaker search online, there's bound to be something about.

I have had to fix fairings where people have used a soldering iron, staples, and even parts of a coat hanger to fix it. If your gonna get the job done, do it properly and with the right tools and materials
