painting the matt black bits :)
#1
was getting fed up with the black plastic bits on my bike not matching the rest of the gloss black bike, so i broke out the aerosol cans and had a go.
not a proffesional job, but looks better than the matt black ones.
primer, 3 coats of black gloss, 4 coats of clear gloss top coat.
thoughts ?

Not bad, you can get good results with jst a can. Sand now with a wet 2000grit. Then buff up with a paint cutter. That'll get rid of the orange peel in the 3rd picture  Big Grin

That is similar stuff to the engine brightener spray that i used which caused havoc when trying to respray the engine, they're both silicone based which react with paint in a bad way!  :groan

I like the silicone shine, dead easy to use and easy to top the shine up
